The opportunity
Every generation of computing needed an industrial layer before it scaled: fabs for the PC, lithography for the smartphone, foundries for AI silicon.
Eyewear computing has no equivalent layer yet. That is the position BenarioXR is building into.
The problem worth solving
Waveguides, micro-optics and embedded photonics are still made like laboratory pieces, low yield, high cost, and impossible to slot into an eyewear production line.
The bottleneck is not the display or the silicon. It is the assembly line between them.
Our solution
We write 3D microstructures directly onto curved optical surfaces, then transfer them into precision master moulds.
From that point, standard injection moulding produces optically functional PMMA lenses at conventional eyewear cost.
Investing
Developed alongside the Israel Innovation Authority, Technion, BINA at Bar-Ilan University, SPO and Fraunhofer.
A German entity, a European manufacturing thesis, and a defensible position in the layer everyone else is waiting on.
