AI Avatar Platform

The intelligent AI avatar kiosk terminal

APII — Automated Passenger Experience Interface. A transparent information kiosk where the structure is the display, and the interface is a conversation.

  • AI avatar kiosk — full design

The transparent one-piece kiosk terminal: structure, display, cameras, microphone array and directional audio in a single bent acrylic body.

For airports and public environments

An AI avatar terminal for the next generation of passenger experience

A one-piece transparent structural body supports a display presenting an AI avatar. Cameras, microphones, directional audio, embedded computing and network connectivity combine to deliver private, multilingual interaction with centralised fleet management — suited to airports and any public environment that needs scalable AI-assisted guidance.

Operation

What happens when someone walks up

Interaction flow between passenger, avatar and the central management platform.
  1. The camera detects a passenger approaching the kiosk.

  2. The AI avatar activates automatically.

  3. Directional audio creates a localised listening area, so the conversation stays with the user and leaks minimally into the public space.

  4. The microphone array captures passenger speech.

  5. The embedded computer processes requests locally and through cloud-based AI services.

  6. Responses cover airport navigation, flight status, transport, retail, emergency guidance and accessibility support.

  7. Each kiosk stays connected to a central platform for updates, monitoring, diagnostics, content sync, analytics and operational control.

Summary of the invention

What the kiosk is made of

A substantially transparent structural panel functions as both the supporting structure and the display surface.
  • One-piece transparent body

Bent acrylic forms both the display section and the supporting leg — structure and screen in a single element.

  • Transparent display assembly

Positioned behind or integrated with the transparent structure, carrying a life-size avatar.

  • Life-size AI avatar

Natural voice interaction, multilingual by default.

  • Cameras

User detection and, where authorised, facial recognition or identity verification.

  • Microphone array

Robust voice capture in noisy terminal environments.

  • Directional audio

A localised private listening zone around the user.

  • Embedded computing & connectivity

Local inference plus network access to cloud services.

  • Fleet management software

Every kiosk operates as a node in a centrally managed network.

Patent pending

Protected by design

The transparent one-piece kiosk architecture, the localised private audio zone and the centrally managed avatar fleet are the subject of a pending patent application.
